Welcome to the second part of the interview with the prestigious Darcy Curry. As stated in part 1, this interview contains more personal questions that will make you realize why Darcy is an essential part of Branded Innovation. Regularly recognized and praise for her work with the company, Darcy has met every expectation that the company has given her. Clients from all around Santa Barbara have mentioned the outstanding work Darcy has done when it comes to SEO. Although she has a tough workload, Darcy has shown what it takes to become a SEO expert in the Santa Barbara community. For the second part of this interview, we decided to randomly select eight questions from viewers that will be asked to both Darcy and Eric!

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: “Ohhh, that’s a hard one. There are so many movies out there and being the fan of stay in Friday night movie times, I have seen quite a bit. But, I would have to say that my favorite movie would have to be The Perks of Being a Wallflower or Back to the Future 1. I’m glad you didn’t ask why, I would have been stumped.”

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: “When I am not working on SEO or client projects, there are a lot of things I love to do! I love volunteering and working with younger kids, I think it is because I love seeing their happy smiles when I show them the cool origami I can make! It is pretty cool if I must say so myself. I also enjoy running outdoors and working out. I have always loved nature so being outdoors is a type of relaxation for me. I tried yoga, but believe me, it is a lot harder than it looks. Another hobby of mine is reading. I love to read, it has always been a way of letting my imagination run wild. I also have a tendency to get in the bad habit of loving my TV shows with my fictional friends.”

Q: If you could sing one song at American Idol what would it be?

A: “Finally, a question I definitely know the answer to! I knew that I would be asked this question one day, so I had to be prepared. I think the song I would sing would be Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. I always rock that song.”

Q: If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you, and why?

A: ” I would like to think Sandra Bullock would play me, but she is just much too classy. So I’m going to have to go with Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls and Parenthood. She always speaks her mind and is a little goofy but well intentioned. I typically speak my mind and have crazy things come out of my mouth. Sometimes people don’t know what to do with me – I think it’s quite fitting :)”

Q: What is your spirit animal?

A: “I think my spirit animal would be a dog. Dogs are loyal, friendly and always ready to play but always down to sleep. It just fits. I wouldn’t be a tiny chipper dog though, I think I would be more like a golden retriever or a lab.”

Q: Besides the Mac n Cheese convention, what other food festivals have you been to?

A: “Unfortunately, I did not attend the Mac n Cheese convention, but I have been to an Avocado festival that is in the area. I personally am more of a music person and want to go to a music festival sometime soon. I have never been to one but I think StageCoach is in my near future.”

Q: If you could travel back in time, where would you go and who would you meet?

A: “That’s a toss up between the late 50s and the early 20s. I would like to go to the 50s to experience the whole poodle skirt, milkshake every day after school thing. But I also like the idea of going back to the 20s when traveling was so much easier and you could go almost anywhere without the hassle we have to face now. I would love to explore to world during that time. It was so different and simple, plus I could invent the computer before Bill Gates. I honestly don’t know who I would want to meet for either of those, there were just too many interesting people in those eras to only choose one.”

Q: Who is your celebrity doppelganger?

A: “I have been told Katie Holmes and once I was told Princess Kate of Wales. I don’t know how accurate those are but I will take them!”

Well, there you have it! Darcy Curry, it has been a pleasure to work with you throughout this internship! Thank you to the viewers for their wonderful questions and to Doug Holt for allowing me to conduct these interviews.
